This is the first story script of many to introduce core structures from the TV show El Internado, La Laguna Negra.  This is for season 1, episode 1 “Los monstruos hacen cosquillas.”  These story scripts will be used to pre-teach the core structures needed for making the episode more comprehensible.   My hope is that by doing these stories, my students will be more successful in understanding the spoken language and written subtitles while watching the episode.   I will be doing this story in Spanish 3 this fall and maybe in Spanish 2 in the spring.

The core structures are:

déjame en paz

se escondió
