2020 Navidad Commercial Madness!!

Here we go! The 2020 edition of the Navidad Commercial Madness! This edition contains 8 commercials with activities to make each commercial comprehensible such as readings, image sequence, writing activity, graphic novels (comic strips), transcripts, matching, and more. It has links to Kahoot games, Gimkit, Quizlet Diagram, Edpuzzle, TeachVid activities, Blooket games, screenshot slideshows, and a few links/images to dig further.

This is smaller than normal due to the unusual situation we are currently teaching in.  However, it contains more activities to choose from. I have created several virtual activities for each commercial than can be used asynchronously. I also put all of the activities, links, screenshots, and commercials in a Google slideshow.

You can follow along the Bracket Madness on Twitter.  Share your results using the hashtag #NavidadMadness .  I can’t wait to see how these commercials do in your classes; there will be some tough battles.

Activities: You do not have to do all of the activities for each commercial. There are several to choose from so do the ones that you like and the ones that your students will enjoy. I usually will do one activity for each commercial during the first round. Then, I will do an additional activity for each commercial that moves on.

  2. Love!! Thanks so much for your hard work! Do we need to purchase a TeachVid subscription for use with Anunció #3 (El Corte Ingles)? Appreciate any tips to get that to work for students
